It’s Time to Set Your Stink Bugs Traps..

Calling all citizens….! Calling all citizens…! I will be brief in this post. I just wanted everyone to know that now would be a good time to set up your stink bug traps. All that you have, booth indoors and outdoors. I know for some or maybe many, the stink bugs has been a part of your everyday life inside and outside your home and that you have been battling since last year. For many though, there have been no real problems to report.

That my friends is no reason NOT to remain vigilant in your “stink bug control” tactics. I have to admit, it has been a really weird winter and even a stranger spring. An example of this in the Maryland area is that we are now getting our “Spring Showers”. For the most part our weather has been mild and out of the ordinary. The flowers seems to be blooming either too early or too late. The leaves on the trees seem to be taking their time coming out. What does that mean ? What’s your point Steve ? Well my point is that, just maybe these Stink Bugs are taking there time coming to the party because of the current climate.

Only time will tell but, I for one have been on the offensive. I hope I’m wrong, it’s been real quiet around here as far as the pest go but, aStink bug trap in the treend this is BIG….maybe this is the quiet before the storm. SET THOSE TRAPS….! I’ve re-armed my RESCUE Trap and will be placing it in a tree I know they love. I will also be setting up my Original Indoor Stink Bug Trap (review to follow).     I’m not on facebook or twitter, so I can’t post my thanks there.                    Question #1: there are all kinds of warnings for Talstar about breathing & eyes, but you have no protection for them – why not?  And question #2,  I previously have Japanese Beetle traps and trapped thousands of them – then I asked my neighbors if they had many, and they said no.  All their beetles were coming to my yard because of the sex lure.  The lure for the stink bug, is that a sex lure, and if so, I don’t think you would want to use it.

      Donald you are right my friend, I should have on a mask and specs however, I got carried away with trying to talk and show at the same time. I suppose I could have edited the audio so that I could be safer while still sharing the information. We should all be safe while using all products like this..In my case(with the traps) all of my neighbors had them and did nothing about it. So you may have a point. I think that we had to do something because they DID NOTHING we are in good shape this year cross my fingers…Good luck to you.
